Given their success with the Renaultsport Clio models, it’s no real surprise that Renault have pulled another class-leader out of the bag with the new Megane RS 265 Cup. With a 2.0 litre turbo engine producing 265 bhp and a light coupe body the Megane attacks corners like nothing else, darting from apex to apex urging you to try it faster and faster. Given that it recently saw off the Ford Focus RS and brand new Vauxhall Astra VXR in a group test, it shows that there’s still a lot of life in the Megane left yet.
